George's Wedding Gift to his friends

"This is a scan of the drawing I did for the happy couple before I personalized it. It is ironic that DC Comics just announced a series wherein these two characters are at war with each other. The calm before the storm here..."

"Here's another exercise in grayscale to color conversion. This time it's the wedding gift I drew of my dear friends (and, of course, big time cosplayers) Roz and Rick. I'm hoping they'll like the color print as a companion piece to the marker and pencil original."

George's Niece

"As I've said before, one of the great joys of being an artist is watching the faces of friends and family as they receive a drawing created specifically for them. This is a portrait I drew of my lovely and talented niece Nicole Neubaur as one of her Christmas presents. Nicole is taking dance lessons from my wife and I wanted to capture her love of dancing in this illustration. The look on her face when she received this (and a copy of an instructional dance video starring Carol) was everything I could have hoped for. So here she is. My lovely Nicole--Born to Dance."

All The Great Books

"This is the last of the program covers for the Moonlight Players' 2010-2011 season. This was the most complicated piece due to my having to digitally strip in the titles for all the books covered in the show. I found that I drew more books than are featured in the show so I had to place filler names on those. >whew<"

Holy Cannoli!

"Here's another Moonlight Players program cover, this time for their production of a romantic comedy called HOLY CANNOLI. This is the first time I've ever spotlighted pastry in any of my covers (with the exception of cheesecake of course ;-D)"

The Fantasticks

"This is the program cover art for the Moonlight Players' production of THE FANTASTICKS. I tried to go as far away from the traditional show logo as possible, and keep the graphics simple. I'm pretty happy with the results."

"My dear friends, Danny and Heather Kelley (The Super Couple) have been going through some physical and medical challenges recently. I had intended this portrait to be their Christmas present, but decided their spirits needed a bit of a lift now, rather than later. I'm happy to say that my instinct was right."

The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge

"This is the program cover for the Moonlight Players' upcoming Christmas show, THE TRIAL OF EBENEZER SCROOGE. I had originally intended to have another artist color this, but found some time after finishing my regular page a little early yesterday to get this finished myself. I doubt I'll have the time to color the remaining covers, but I am happy with how this one turned out."

Arsenic and Old Lace

"This is the very basic line drawing for the program cover of yet another Moonlight Players production, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE. Not much to look at now, but wait until color artist Charles Truscott gets done with it. Chuck has provided beautiful set art for many Moonlight shows and I am ecstatic that we are working together here. Once Chuck's done I'll provide the logo and trade dress.

"The program cover for ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, the Moonlight Players' March 11th to April 3rd 2011 production. Colors by Charles Truscott, with me adding some extra tweaks since Chuck is also busy painting the sets for TRIAL OF EBENEZER SCROOGE. I still need to finish the trade dress copy --between comics pages. We artists never rest!"

Dirty Rotten Scoondrels

"This is the line art for the program cover to the Moonlight Players' production of DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. I've been trying different art styles for each cover and this one should have a nice art deco/ art nouveau feel to it, especially after it's colored by the talented Annette White, who did such a wonderful job on my cover for THE MIKADO."

"Here's the color version of the program cover for the Moonlight Players' production of DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. I think that Annette White did a wonderful coloring job. Logo and dates and other copy still need to be added, but I couldn't resist showing this off now. The show will run Friday-Sunday from Jan. 21st to Feb. 13th 2011."
