George's Wedding Gift to his friends

"This is a scan of the drawing I did for the happy couple before I personalized it. It is ironic that DC Comics just announced a series wherein these two characters are at war with each other. The calm before the storm here..."

"Here's another exercise in grayscale to color conversion. This time it's the wedding gift I drew of my dear friends (and, of course, big time cosplayers) Roz and Rick. I'm hoping they'll like the color print as a companion piece to the marker and pencil original."

George's Niece

"As I've said before, one of the great joys of being an artist is watching the faces of friends and family as they receive a drawing created specifically for them. This is a portrait I drew of my lovely and talented niece Nicole Neubaur as one of her Christmas presents. Nicole is taking dance lessons from my wife and I wanted to capture her love of dancing in this illustration. The look on her face when she received this (and a copy of an instructional dance video starring Carol) was everything I could have hoped for. So here she is. My lovely Nicole--Born to Dance."

Supergirl & Superman

"My dear friends, Danny and Heather Kelley (The Super Couple) have been going through some physical and medical challenges recently. I had intended this portrait to be their Christmas present, but decided their spirits needed a bit of a lift now, rather than later. I'm happy to say that my instinct was right."

George's Niece

"This is a portrait I did of my 'niece' Charity to thank her for helping me and the Hero Initiative at MegaCon, her first-ever comics convention. She and her sister Camille looked great in costume and, although I have done a portrait of Milla, this was the first one I've done of Charity. She was dressed as the movie version of Elektra and the look on her face when I gave this to her was everything I could have hoped for."

Tom Smith's Birthday Gift

This piece was done for Tom Smith as a birthday gift. Showcasing Tom himself surrounded by plenty of horror characters: Man Wolf, The Mummy, Dracula, Frankenstein, Cain & Abel? and others I don't know.

Cool piece!

Carol, George's Wife

The dancer is George's Wife, Carol, who in fact is a belly dancer. Phoenicia was his dance name. The man sitting in the throne should be George himself.

A really cool piece and half colored by great Tom Smith.
